Runapalooza Athlete Details
Colorado Tap House
7:00AM - 11:00AM
Welcome to the ultimate prehistoric event! We are so thrilled to stomp into the end of summer with you for our 14th Annual Runapalooza this Saturday, August 8th, at our awesome new venue—the Colorado Tap House! We want to make sure your race day is smooth, seamless, and dino-mite from start to finish.
Below, you’ll find your complete survival guide for the morning, everything you wanted to know about race day—no digging for fossils (or info) required! Get your details about early packet pickup times, parking, course instructions, and all the well-deserved post-race perks waiting for you at the finish line. Then get ready for a Jurassic good time on the trail!
As a reminder, this is the only year Runapalooza will feature a dinosaur theme. So, you can expect to hear my dinosaur puns for just one more week. But also, if you know someone who loves the dinosaur theme like I do, we still have event spots available so encourage them to join you!

📛 Bib & Start Line Info
- Start Line: The start line is at the All-Out wind flags in the Tap House parking lot.
- Keep Those Tabs: We know that some athletes prefer to remove the bottom tabs before their run or walk. However, it’s important to keep those tabs with you, as you’ll need them to access your post-race nutrition and the special drink offer at the Tap House.
- Bib Guidelines: Wear on outermost layer, horizontal, and visible.
- Start Line Etiquette: ⏱️ Fast runners up front 🚶 Walkers toward the back.
- Chip Timing: Your time starts when you cross the line. Someone could be behind you the entire race and still beat you, so as I always say, "either just run faster, or run your own race!"
- Start Window: ‼️ Late starters must downgrade or won’t be allowed on course with a bib.
- Half: 7:00–7:05AM
- 10K: 7:30–7:35AM

Any items dropped at other aid stations will be brought back to gear check by the end of the event. Please only drop items at aid stations.
